Another playspace for Carrollton Children

Another playspace for Carrollton Children!
Pensiontown and Carrollton neighborhood volunteers will join sponsors from the Allstate Foundation, the Injury Free Coalition for Kids and Operation Kids to build a state-of-the-art safe recreational space for children, and you are encouraged (needed!) to participate!

WHEN: Saturday, April 18, 2009 – 8:00 a.m.
WHERE: Harrell Park
2300 Leonidas @ S. Claiborne Ave.
Residents have partnered with the Allstate Foundation, the Injury Free Coalition for Kids and Operation Kids in their campaign to build a safe recreational space for kids in our neighborhood.
Harrell Park successfully bid for the playground as part of the “Little Hands Neighborhood Playground Partnership”
This could be the first of several playground builds and we need your support. Hollygrove children, including neighborhood sports teams, have long used Harrell Park and its recovery, as well as the recovery of Conrad Playground, is important for our neighborhood.
